A full-time professional academic staff position is available in Continuing Education as an Outreach Specialist for Small Business Development Center Programs beginning July 1, 2009. The official title is Outreach Specialist.

Serve as the Executive Director of the 7 Rivers Alliance and lead a dynamic initiative to develop our regional assets and our industries in a way that provides mutual benefit to the entire area.  7 Rivers is a regional economic development organization serving Western Wisconsin, Southeast Minnesota and Northeast Iowa. This is a part-time opportunity with the potential for full time based on job success.

This  position is responsible for coordination and expansion of WWBIC’s small business and micro lending programs in Milwaukee and West Allis. Responsibilities include: identify and assist potential borrowers; coordinate, analyze and underwrite loan applications; support existing borrowers; maintain strong portfolio quality and performance; develop and maintain contacts within the local financial and economic development communities.
